🇮🇳 Why no international car racing held at "BIC"?

India, have builded a race track called “BIC” but no international car racing organising there.
Is a circuit problem or peoples(less racing fans)?

2013 there was a formula one indian grand prix, due to some tax and dispute issue with government. This dispute has hindered the circuit’s ability to attract major international racing events since then. Circuit is good, there is need of acceptance from top. Also, for international racing events, especially those like Formula One, circuits must meet specific safety standards.

My personal opinion on timing, in 2013 most people not have the internet and smartphone so certainly less fan base to make a event like F1 sustainable as business prospective. But now while we are in 2025, having more f1 fans and government is also supportive too. Finger cross for indian f1 fans :crossed_fingers:

 Think if F1 happened in India, it impact India’s youth to do something great in automobile space. Last I saw a Formula E Hyderabad Grand Prix, which was successful and attracted major peoples.

I know this will be hard for :india: Indian fans and to remain uncertain. But good things is this community, we doing focus on F1 racing so together , we will enjoy with other f1 fans.
